When you initiate an Interac e-Transfer, the recipient is notified by email and/or text within 30 minutes and can accept the transfer instantly.

Be secure in the knowledge that it’s not your money that travels by email or text message, just the notifications and deposit instructions. The receiving and sending financial institutions transfer the funds between each other using established and secure banking procedures.
Fees
You never pay to receive funds via Interac e-Transfer, and if you have a Perfetto. account with us, you won't pay to send funds either. Enjoy free and unlimited real-time fund transfers with our signature all-in-one account. Otherwise, it costs $1.50 per request to send.
Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit
